Outdoor Art Booths Every Saturday & Sunday

Held every weekend at the scenic Coronado Ferry Landing, the Coronado Art Walk offers a free, open-air experience for art enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. This event features a wide spectrum of artistic expressions, from paintings and ceramics to handcrafted jewelry and photography, all displayed by talented artists.

Visitors can also participate in engaging, family-friendly activities like face painting, knitting, and creating cards for the “Send Sunshine to Soldiers” project. In addition, the event includes live music, with opportunities to explore the nearby restaurants, galleries, and shops. For added convenience, a complimentary shuttle connects guests to additional displays at Spreckels Park.

Since 1984, the Art Walk in Carlsbad has been a cherished community event, featuring an eclectic mix of artistic creations ranging from paintings to sculptures, all showcased in artist booths. Each year, a panel selects over 150 artists, displaying exceptional talent and creativity.

Local artists from Carlsbad and San Diego County overall contribute to this great art event. Alongside the art, attendees can indulge in diverse culinary offerings from food trucks stationed throughout the venue, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Art Walk Little Italy, San Diego

Annual Outdoor Art Show & Exhibition

This year, the Art Walk in San Diego’s Little Italy has been rebranded as “Bella Vita Fest.” Featuring over 250 artists, the event includes live performances on multiple stages, interactive art activities for families, and lots of food options.

Celebrating Italian Heritage Month, the festival also offers wine tastings to enhance the cultural experience. Over two days, it pays tribute to the Madonnari, 16th-century street artists, transforming Little Italy’s streets into a colorful canvas with more than 50 live chalk artworks created on-site.

La Jolla Art Walk

First Friday Art Walk in San Diego County, CA

La Jolla, recognized as one of San Diego’s top art districts, features numerous galleries within a small, walkable area. Each month, the district hosts an Art Walk, inviting visitors to explore over 25 participating galleries.

Although most galleries are open daily during regular hours, the First Friday Art Walk is a standout event. The La Jolla Art & Wine Festival, typically held in late September, stands out as one of San Diego’s cultural art walks, with a focus on welcoming pets, particularly dogs.

With nearly 170 participating artists, the event highlights various forms of creative expression, including painting, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, and photography. In addition to the art, visitors can explore vendor booths, savor gourmet dishes from local food vendors, and unwind in the exclusive wine and beer garden, which offers selections from more than 35 wineries and breweries.
