About Art Walk La Jolla

La Jolla, one of San Diego’s most renowned art districts, is home to numerous galleries situated within a small, easily walkable area. Each month, the district hosts an Art Walk, where visitors can explore more than 25 participating galleries.

While most galleries are open seven days a week during regular hours, the First Friday Art Walk is a particularly special occasion. On this day, artists expect larger crowds, maps are provided to guide visitors, and the event often features live music and other special activities. If you prefer to visit the galleries in a more lively atmosphere, the First Friday Art Walk offers a vibrant, social experience.
